Dennis
resides in South Portland with his wife and two teenage daughters.
He has been a Teamster member of Local 340 since 1969 and
Shop Steward at United Parcel Service since April 1977. Dennis
is a long time Union activist and Local 340 supporter.
Having
graduated from High School in 1967, he started working at
UPS during college in 1969. He graduated from University of
Maine in 1972 with a Batchelor of Science in Business Administration.
As
a part-time employee there until 1998, Dennis then got one
of the UPS combo 22.3 positions, working preload and delivering
air packages from the Portland facility.
Dennis is a long time Union activist and Local 340 supporter
representing our Local Union on assignments in Washington,
DC and throughout the State of Maine in various capacities.
He attends our rallies and demonstrations in support of Union
workers.
He
has survived three UPS strikes and is staying optomistic that
he won't see a fourth. |
